    Baseball ticket prices up 2.5 percent; Red Sox have highest average again (AP)

    The increase in baseball ticket prices slowed this year. Baseball’s major league average is $22.69 this season, the Team Marketing Report said Friday, up 2.5 percent from last year’s adjusted average of $22.14. Boston has the highest average for the 10th straight season, going up 2.7 percent to $47.71.
